Helen and Danny’s San Francisco micro wedding was held atop Tank Hill in the presence of a handful of their closest friends. A hidden gem nestled 600 feet above the city and in the eastern shadow of Twin Peaks, Tank Hill is perfect for a scenic elopement within the city. While the hilltop park isn’t huge, what it lacks in physical space it more than makes up for with it’s impressive overlook on the city below. With panoramic views stretching from Oakland all the way up the coast to Pt. Reyes, Tank Hill is a perfect place to elope or to plan a micro wedding with your closest loved ones.
Helen and Danny were married by one of their closest friends and read the vows they’d prepared. Danny recalled back to the early days of their courtship and this beautiful person he just knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Despite the midday ceremony, their fall bay area wedding happened to be in one of the best windows for the best light for photography so we were able to take some photos atop the hill of the couple and their guests before heading back down to the reception. We traveled to McCormick and Kuletos in Ghiradelli Square where the couple met a few more guests and family for some family photos, speeches, games, and a perfect wedding day luncheon amongst a great group of loved ones. The perfect formula for a little wedding; intimate ceremony followed by a larger celebration focused around tasty wines and delicious meal, stress free and simply fun!
