Our Little Wedding started with Jaime and Dennis — the husband-and-wife team behind Viera Photographics, an internationally acclaimed wedding photojournalism company with 18 years of experience. They'd traveled the globe shooting grand, high-end weddings. But somewhere along the way, they fell in love with the small ones. The ones where it's really about the essentials: good food, a stunning location, excellent wine, and your favorite people.

They grabbed the domain name six years before they actually launched. When the world slowed down in 2020, the timing finally felt right. Turns out, couples everywhere were ready for something different — a wedding that felt personal, not produced. That first year, they planned dozens of weddings. The need was real, and it hasn't slowed down since.

Here's what makes us different: we've been on the other side. After photographing hundreds of big weddings, we know exactly what makes a day memorable — and what's just filler. Today, we plan intimate weddings all over California — San Francisco City Hall, the redwood groves of Big Sur, vineyards in Sonoma, beaches in Santa Cruz, mountain lodges at Lake Tahoe, the coastal charm of Mendocino, and the desert cool of Palm Springs. We work with all couples and all love stories.
