Our Little Wedding (“we,” “us,” or “our”) plans intimate California micro weddings. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, book a wedding, or use our planning portal, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
If you have questions, email us at planning@ourlittlewedding.com.
When you fill out the contact form on our site, we collect your name, email address, and the information you choose to share (phone number, wedding date or timeframe, guest count range, preferred location, package interest, and your message). We also collect your partner's name and email if you provide them. Your IP address and browser information are stored with each form submission for abuse prevention and rate-limiting.
Vendors who apply to join the directory through the “List Your Business” form submit their business name, contact email, website, category, region, and a short description. That information is stored in our database and reviewed by our team.
Couples who book with us get access to a private planning portal. Inside the portal we store the information you share during the planning process: your wedding vision, venue preference, style preferences, guest count, and logistical details. This information lives in your couple account and is used only to plan your wedding.
Deposits and couple payments are processed through Stripe's hosted checkout page. Card numbers and payment credentials are collected and stored directly by Stripe. They never pass through our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount paid, but not your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
Vendor listing subscriptions (for vendors who pay for Featured or Preferred placement) are also processed through Stripe Checkout on the same basis.
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights on our public marketing pages. These tools collect anonymous page-view and performance data. No personally identifiable information is attached to these records. We may also use Google Analytics 4 (when enabled via a measurement ID environment variable) to understand how visitors find and use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser; see Google's privacy policy for details.
We use Sentry to capture application errors. Sentry may record request URLs, browser information, and anonymous session context when an error occurs. It does not record passwords or payment information.
The marketing pages of this site set no first-party cookies beyond what Vercel and Google Analytics require (see above). When you log in to the planning portal or the booking flow, authentication cookies are set in your browser to maintain your session. These cookies are cleared when you log out or when the session expires. A short-lived security token cookie is set during the booking flow to prevent session-swapping attacks; it does not track you across the web.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
When you submit a contact form, you receive a short series of planning-related follow-up emails in the weeks that follow. Every one of those emails includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately cancels any remaining scheduled messages and records your preference in our database. Re-subscribing at any time is possible from the same unsubscribe page.
After you book, we send transactional emails related to your wedding (confirmations, vendor updates, planning milestones). These are not marketing emails and are not subject to the unsubscribe flow, but you can always email us to update your communication preferences.
With your permission, we may feature your wedding photos and story on our website, social media, and marketing materials. We ask for your consent before publishing anything. You can set your preference to “do not publish” at any time, and any content already published will be removed promptly upon request. Email planning@ourlittlewedding.com to update your photo preferences.
Inquiry records are kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your information and there is no legal or contractual reason to retain it, we will do so within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
To make a request, email planning@ourlittlewedding.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.
Our site is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy when our practices change. When we do, we update the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted on our site. Continued use of our site or services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
Questions about this policy or your information? Reach us at planning@ourlittlewedding.com. We read every message and respond personally.
