Demi and Kirk's private cliffside residence wedding in Malibu was eighteen guests at a house above the Pacific in October 2024, three floors given over to one day, with a ceremony on the lawn at the edge of the property and a long table dinner by the pool. They rented the house for the week, brought their own wooden arch and a standing mirror, and built everything else around the water view.
Hair & Makeup ran on two getting-ready floors simultaneously. The ceremony came in the afternoon, the arch set up on the lawn with the ocean behind it. After the vows, everyone moved to the pool patio for cocktails, then came back to the long table for dinner as the sky went dark over the coast.
The house did the work from the start. The ladies got ready on the master floor, the gents on the second, hair and makeup running with a team of artists through the morning and into the afternoon. From both floors, the Pacific was already right there past the glass, the cliffside property's ocean view the same one they had rented the house for in the first place. Personal florals came in, and the arch and mirror the couple had arranged were already in place on the lawn.
There was no first look. Demi got ready with her bridesmaids and her maid of honor, and she and Kirk stayed apart until the ceremony, the full reveal saved for the moment she came to the arch.

The ceremony was on the lawn, the wooden arch dressed with florals at the edge of the property and the open Pacific filling the view behind it. The wedding party came in first, in pairs. Kirk waited at the front, and Demi came last.
Maricela officiated, eighteen guests seated in the afternoon light, the wooden arch at the edge of the property and the ocean behind everything. By the time it wrapped, the sun was low enough over the water to head straight into portraits.
“A wooden arch at the edge of a Malibu cliff, the Pacific behind it, eighteen people in the chairs.”
While guests moved to the pool area for cocktails, Demi and Kirk slipped out with the photographer for family portraits and couple photos. This stretch of the Malibu coast sits at the northern edge of Santa Monica Bay, and on a clear day the view reaches all the way out to Catalina, the kind of view that earns its place in the frame without asking.
They worked through the groupings with the water dropping away below the bluff, then came back to the house as the sky went gold.
Nicu announced Demi and Kirk into the reception, and they went straight into their first dance to Defeater's "I Don't Mind." Kirk danced with his mom after, and then the toasts began, best man Sean, maid of honor Hope, and both sisters Steph and Brittany.
Monrose Catering served dinner at the long table on the pool patio, with tea lights in pink glasses on the runners and menus at each seat. They cut a two-tiered lemon cake with strawberry buttercream from Sweet Arleen's, and the party stayed on the property late, their own speaker carrying the music out over the water.
