A Cliffside Gazebo Ceremony and a Beach Sunset in Dana Point

Family, Cake, and the First Dance

Right after the ceremony, Elizabeth and Isaac had their first dance while the chairs were cleared, and then moved into family photos on the bluff. The Palisades Gazebo sits above Capistrano Beach with a view that runs from the San Clemente pier to the harbor, so the groupings had the whole coastline behind them.

Isaac's mother cut the cake and served it to the guests, a strawberry cream cake under buttercream, dressed with a few florals. The couple had brought their own plates and napkins for the table, one of the small personal touches that made the gazebo feel set for them.

Sunset on the Sand, Then Orange Hill

As the light dropped toward sunset, the couple headed down to the beach, a couple of minutes from the gazebo, for portraits on the sand. It was the quiet stretch of the day, just the two of them and the water while the sky turned.

From there, the couple and their guests drove inland to Orange Hill for a dinner reservation to close out the night. After planning the whole thing from another state, Elizabeth and Isaac ended the day exactly where they meant to.
