Gabby and Carlos's lower-lawn ceremony at Olema House brought 51 guests to the edge of Point Reyes National Seashore in September 2023, on the lawn and garden that run along Olema Creek. They got ready on opposite sides of the property, did a first look before any guests arrived, and then gave the rest of the day to the people they had brought.
The ceremony was on the lawn with a guitarist, the speeches ran long and full that evening, and when the night wound down, everyone walked next door to keep it going.

Morning
Getting Ready at Olema House
Gabby and Carlos got ready apart. Gabby was in Casa Olema with her mom, her sister, and her closest friends while Hair & Makeup worked through the morning. Carlos was in the Drake Suite with two best friends and his uncles, getting into his suit and waiting on his boutonniere.
Once Gabby was in her dress, the two of them met for a first look out on the property, the first time they had seen each other all day, before a single guest arrived.
Afternoon
Vows on the Lower Lawn at Olema House
The ceremony was on the lawn, with a guitarist playing the wedding party in. Carlos walked first, then the bridesmaids and groomsmen came down individually in alternating pairs, followed by the two young flower boys together. Gabby came last, on both her parents' arms.
