The spaceA hidden gem in the Mission built in the 1800s as a carriage house — now a cozy, urban-chic cafe with a gorgeously manicured garden patio, barista lights, an outdoor fireplace, and indoor family-style tables. Rental is $250/hr, evening events only (4-11pm after cafe closes). In-house chef handles catering with locally-sourced menus. You'll need a professional event planner. Perfect for intimate, foodie-forward celebrations.
What's includedGallery + Covered Patio (65 family-style seated or standing) or Courtyard + Gallery + Patio together (80); tables and chairs, fireplace, heat lamps, and access to two bathrooms are included; serving dishes for family-style dining are placed at the center of each table.
Food & drinkIn-house catering with in-house chefs is preferred. An outside caterer is allowed for an additional fee and must attend a walk-through and provide a business license and certificate of liability insurance; there is a preferred-caterer list (Carrie Dove, Salt & Honey, Stag Dining, Foxtail, Toast). Food trucks are allowed with a parking permit. Stable is the only in-house bar catering. The minimum for food service is 20 people. The kitchen is a production space for preparation, plating and bussing only — Stable does not provide dishes, glassware, pots, pans, smallwares or utensils.

House rulesHard liquor is not allowed on site and this is strictly enforced; BYOB is not allowed either · Bar service is unlimited beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks at $50 per person · Ceremonies cannot be accommodated for more than 65 guests · Music must end by 10pm under a strict noise restriction with no exceptions, and live music is not currently allowed — the venue sits between residential units · A professional event planner is required, along with a special-events endorsement on the couple's homeowner or renters insurance · A signed contract and a 50% date-hold deposit reserve the date; the rental balance and all bar, catering, furniture and equipment costs are due 72 hours before the event · The rental fee is separate from food and beverage · The space is available 4:00pm–11:00pm, including setup and breakdown · Couples rent separately: dinner plates, silverware, cloth napkins, glassware for table service, small plates and forks for cocktail hour, any extra tables and chairs, and heat lamps if needed · Only Stable staff may move or rearrange furnishings, and any removal needs the owner's approval · No nails, screws, staples or other penetrating fixings on walls or floors; low-tack tape only · No glitter, piñata or confetti on site · No smoking or drug use on the premises or within 25 feet of the building · Caterers must remove all garbage from the property, and a final walk-through with event staff is mandatory at the close of the event · Outside DJs are welcome — no preferred list required · Venue bar only · Hard liquor and BYOB are both strictly prohibited; bar service is unlimited beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks at $50/person. Ceremonies are capped at 65 guests. Music must end by 10pm with no exceptions (no live music at all — the venue sits between residential units).
