Tatiana and Chris's winter wedding at Sand Rock Farm brought fifty guests to a redwood estate in Aptos on a foggy day in January 2024, the coast fog hanging low in the trees all afternoon. They kept it close and warm, a redwood grove for the vows, the old barn for dinner, café lights strung against the grey.
Hair and makeup in the morning fog, a first look before anyone else arrived, then the ceremony under the redwoods and a long evening in the barn with the people they'd asked to come.

Morning
A Winter Morning at Sand Rock Farm
Fog sat in the redwood branches outside the farmhouse windows. Tatiana finished hair and makeup with her people around her, her bouquet waiting nearby. Chris got into his suit, had his boutonniere pinned on.
Before the guests arrived, the two of them found a quiet spot on the grounds for a first look, a few minutes alone with the trees before the day filled up. The fog held all morning, soft and grey through the canopy.
Afternoon
A Foggy-January Redwood Ceremony at Sand Rock Farm
They married in the redwood grove, the tall trees closing in overhead and a fountain trickling somewhere off to the side. Fifty guests sat in the wood chairs while Tatiana came down the aisle, the winter light filtering soft and grey through the canopy. They said their vows there under the redwoods, close enough that everyone in the chairs could hear every word.
Amy West Floral Design had dressed the grove for the day, the bouquet Tatiana carried and the arrangements placed among the trees, white and soft against the January green.
