A Halloween cliffside elopement in Jenner, planned entirely from out of state — Alexis and Christopher married on a bluff above the Pacific on October 31, 2024, a date they'd chosen with real intention. They'd never set foot in California, so they put their trust fully in the Our Little Wedding team to find them the perfect spot on the Sonoma Coast.
The morning went to getting ready and a first look. Everything after that pointed toward one thing: the edge of the coast at the end of the day, when they read their vows with the ocean below and the light going amber over the water.
Hair and makeup came together while Alexis's bouquet waited nearby — white roses worked through with dusty-blue thistle, small blue berries, and trailing eucalyptus, the one cool note against a neutral morning. Christopher dressed close by. He wore a soft dusty-blue suit, a navy tie, and a single white-rose boutonniere. A small cake sat ready among the details.
Before the ceremony they did a first look out on the headland. Alexis came up the bluff in a fitted lace gown and a long cathedral veil while Christopher stood with his back turned and waited, the Pacific and a weathered coastal cottage behind her. Neither of them had seen this stretch of coast before that morning. They were completely in someone else's hands for the day, which is its own kind of trust.

The ceremony happened right at the edge, on a bluff above the open water with the horizon and nothing else behind them. Christopher read his vows while Alexis was watching him — as her veil moved subtly in the wind. Their closest family and friends were standing at the edge of the headland — an older man among them, someone's dad in a flat cap, the small handful of people who'd made the trip. Rev. Samuel Fullerton stood at the front.
The Our Little Wedding team scouted the spot specially, a cliffside stretch of the Sonoma Coast and the drama they wanted on the October afternoon. The light was warm and low, the water a flat pale grey below. The whole bluff was catching amber at the edges.
“Brian picked the most beautiful coastline spot, and we got the best pictures with an amazing sunset.”
With the vows said, the afternoon opened up for portraits along the bluffs. Jenner sits where the Russian River meets the Pacific, on a stretch of coast known for its sea stacks and the harbor seals that haul out at the river mouth — in late October, at the peak of pupping season, hundreds of them line the sand. Alexis and Christopher walked the headland through the dry gold grass and the low cypress, the water behind them the whole way, the coastline doing the work no décor could.
They went out near the edge together, her veil and her train laid over the grass, his hand at her waist, the cove dropping away to the surf below.
“Our elopement was everything we hoped it would be! Angelina was amazing throughout planning and the day of our elopement. The day had a set timeline that worked out perfectly without feeling rushed through anything but still staying on time with everything. We had never been out to California so we truly put our trust in Angelina and Brian to plan the day and scope out a spot to do the ceremony and they did not disappoint!! Brian picked the most beautiful coastline spot and we got the best pictures with an amazing sunset. It was truly a perfect day thanks to the OLW team.”
