Family portraits happened across the property after the ceremony, the front lawn, the seasonal gardens, and the koi pond and custom mosaics the owner has built into the grounds over the years. Villa Francesca was constructed in 1928, a historic Spanish-style villa that gives you a range of portrait settings without asking anyone to move far from the courtyard.

The spring light in SoCal does the rest. Rachel and Brian worked their way through the garden paths while their family and friends settled in ahead of dinner, the afternoon warm and unhurried in the way May usually is this close to the water.

Dinner, Toasts, and Cake in the Garden

The reception carried into the evening on the courtyard and the lawn. A caterer handled dinner while the florist's arrangements ran through the tables, and toasts came from the people who knew the couple best, close and warm, the room small enough for everything said in it to land.
