A Vineyard Wedding Built Around Their Guests, Then It Rained

Family portraits stayed on the Cline property after the ceremony. Cline Family Cellars sits in the Carneros appellation with the Adobe Mission at its center, and eucalyptus trees and lotus ponds flank it, so the vineyard rows and estate buildings did most of the visual work while nobody had to move far to reach them.

That was the point of the whole layout. The property runs flat all the way through, with no steps between the ceremony site and the reception area and no uneven ground, so an accessible vineyard wedding here means the grounds come to the guests rather than the other way around. Elisa and Frank's older family never had to think about being comfortable, and the portraits stayed close after the ceremony, the vineyard rows behind everyone and the rain easing off.

Dinner and the Cline Wines

Chef Jessica Brunelli handled the food, and Criminal Baking made the cake. Cline's own wines poured through the evening, which is a logical pairing when you are already standing on the estate that makes them. Ashley Zahari coordinated the day, and she was the one who found the pivot when the weather turned.

Elisa and Frank asked for something simple from the start: find a place, food, and a feel they loved, and make it work for the people they were bringing. That is what the day delivered. The accessible vineyard wedding they had built from scratch held together when the rain arrived, not because the day got lucky, but because they had chosen every piece with those specific guests in mind.
