Portraits Across the Viansa Vineyard

Portraits happened on the Viansa property after the ceremony. The winery gives a photographer plenty to work with — the ivy courtyard where the flowers still hung from the arch, the barrel room downstairs, the vineyard rows running off the hilltop. Viera Photographics moved through the family groupings and the couple portraits before the light changed.

The estate sits high enough that the Sonoma Valley keeps shifting under the afternoon light as the sun crosses it, and a vineyard wedding at Viansa gives you room to stay out in that light rather than rush it. They did not rush the portraits. They used every bit of the grounds the day gave them.

Dinner and Dancing at Viansa

Chef Jessica Brunelli handled the food. Criminal Baking made the cake. Viansa's own wines, the sparkling Reserve among them, were on the table, poured through dinner and into the dancing. The reception ran with music and dancing and the ease that comes when everything lands where it was supposed to — not something you'd have bet on, with the whole wedding rebuilt from scratch a week out.

Rebecca called it everything she could have dreamed of. That is the benchmark, and it held. The timeline to get there just happened to be an unusual one — and the dog, of course, was there for all of it.
