Guerneville Micro Wedding

Guerneville is where the Russian River slows down under the redwoods, and the whole town moves at that speed. It's been a getaway for a century and it wears the history well: cabin resorts, a walkable main street, and Armstrong Redwoods — 800 acres of old-growth forest — five minutes from downtown.

For a ceremony, the redwoods change everything. Getting married inside a grove of thousand-year-old trees feels closer to a cathedral than most cathedrals do, and it works in any weather — the canopy handles sun and drizzle alike. Dawn Ranch puts lodge, lawn, and forest on one riverside property; Korbel has been making sparkling wine at the forest's edge since 1882.

Guerneville is also, by a wide margin, one of the most welcoming towns in wine country — a longtime LGBTQ+ haven where every kind of couple and every kind of wedding is genuinely celebrated, not just accommodated.
